On the occasion of the National Day of the Republic of Serbia, on February 18, 2014 the Embassy has hosted a reception in "David Intercontinental" Hotel in Tel Aviv, marking at the same time Serbian Armed Forces Day. There were around 250 invitees at the reception from Israeli political and public circles and media, representatives of religious communities, members of diplomatic and military corps, as well as representatives of the Jewish community with Serbian origin and Serbian diaspora in Israel. After the national anthems were played, the Ambassador of Serbia H.E. Milutin Stanojevic and the guest of honour, Minister for Senior Citizens of Israel Mr. Uri Orbach have addressed the reception.
